In Publisher, a Web page is created by publishing a content item. The content of a Web page derives from the information stored within that content item and from files, as well as content and other material referenced within that content item.
As an Editor (or a user with a higher role), you can publish one content item or one folder at a time, or you can select multiple content items or folders to publish simultaneously. You also can publish immediately or on a schedule that you set. In addition, you can set a content item to expire immediately or set a schedule for expiration, so that obsolete information is automatically removed from your Web site.
