Setting the Preview and Publish Target of the Root Folder

When you, as the Administrator, configure Publisher for a preview site or publication site, start by configuring the root folder. After you configure the root folder, you can configure other folders separately for different locations.

Note: Only Administrators can modify the root publishing target.

To configure the root folder:

1. From the Publisher Administration portlet, launch Publisher Explorer.
2. In the navigation pane of the Publisher Explorer, right-click the root (topmost) folder.
3. On the context menu, click Publishing Target.
4. Configure the Publishing Target.
5. Click Finish.
