Previewing a Content Item

Previewing a content item displays it as it will appear when published to the portal. You can preview a content item while you are creating or editing it in Content Item Editor. You can also preview a content item from Publisher Explorer.

Note: You cannot preview a content item unless the data entry template from which it was created is associated with a presentation template that is set up to publish as a complete page.

To preview a content item from Publisher Explorer:

1. From the Publisher Administration portlet, launch Publisher Explorer.
2. In the navigation pane on the left, locate and open the folder that contains the content item you want to preview.
3. In table pane on the right, right-click the content item, then click Preview.
