The Publishing Schedule page displays the most recently scheduled publication date and allows you to schedule a new publication and expiration date and time for the content item. Only users with Editor or higher roles can set content items to expire.
Note: This page is only available to users with roles that allow publishing, so Contributors and Submitters, who cannot publish, will not see this page. For more information about roles, see Roles and Permissions.
In Next Scheduled Publishing,
choose an option. If you want to schedule the publication, type a date
in the text box or click to choose a date.
In Expiration, select whether you want the content item to persist in the portal or expire on a particular date. At the scheduled time, Publisher will delete the published content files, including any file contained in the item’s image or file properties, from the publishing target. Expired content will be removed from the search index.
