Use the Configure Portlet Wizard to create and edit published content portlets; it is a launchpad to pages that allow you to both create a portlet and change the appearance and functionality of the portlet. You can click Create Portlet to access the Create Portlet page of the wizard, where you enter the portlet folder name and select the folder in which the portlet folder will reside. Under Edit Objects, you can click an editable object and either make changes within the wizard or click Edit to open an editor for the object: the Content Item Editor, Data Entry Template Editor, Presentation Template Editor, or Selection List Editor. For more information on editable objects, see Editing Objects.
The following let you delete a portlet or customize a portlet template:
Delete: Click
to delete a portlet. A message box indicates that the portlet will be
deleted from Publisher, but you need to delete it separately from the
portal. Click OK.
Advanced Settings:
Click to access the Advanced
Portlet Settings page. You will be asked if you want to save the portlet;
click OK.
Security:
Click to access the Content
Security page, where you can assign different Publisher security for
the portlet folder defined in the portlet template.
Workflow:
Click to access the Folder Workflow Properties
page, where you can assign a workflow definition for the portlet folder
defined in the portlet template.Click Next>> and <<Previous to scroll through the editable object categories.
Click Finish to save and publish a new portlet and return to the Portlet Editor. Or you can click an editable objects category.
Click Cancel to return to the previous page.
