Content Item Editor - Notes

The Notes page allows you to enter information about the content item that is not included in the data entry template. This information will be accessible to users in the workflow, but will not be included in the metadata for the content item and will not be searchable through Publisher.

Note: This page is only available to users with roles that allow publishing, so Contributors and Submitters, who cannot publish, will not see this page. For more information about roles, see Roles and Permissions.

• To display the page associated with this help topic:

• In Publisher Explorer (which can be launched from the Publisher Administration portlet):

1. Select a folder in the navigation pane.
2. In the table pane, click a content item. The Content Item Editor appears.
3. Under Content on the left, click Notes.  
 


• In the Most Recently Used Content portlet:  

1. Click a content item.
2. Under Content on the left, click Notes.
