SB 60 Criminal Conflict and Civil Regional Counsel Membership in the Senior Management Service Class; Providing that participation in the Senior Management Service Class of the Florida Retirement System is compulsory for each district’s assistant regional counsel supervisors, beginning on a specified date, etc.
SB 474 Revising the authorization to be granted a leave of absence for military service to include the Coast Guard; revising the authorization to be granted a leave of absence for reserve or guard training to include members of the Florida State Guard; specifying that an authorization for a leave of absence for all employees of the state and the counties, municipalities, and political subdivisions of the state to perform active military service for a specified timeframe is based on a single order; deleting positions from the Department of Military Affairs from compulsory participation in the Senior Management Service Class, etc.
SB 520 Providing an exemption from public records requirements for all records identifying participants in any state retirement plan administered by the Division of Retirement of the Department of Management Services and held by the division or the State Board of Administration; providing for future legislative review and repeal of the exemption; deleting provisions providing a limited exemption from public records requirements for certain retirement records; providing a statement of public necessity, etc.
SB 640 Authorizing the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court to select a specified number of managerial or policymaking positions within the judicial branch for inclusion in the Senior Management Service Class of the Florida Retirement System; requiring the Executive Director and the General Counsel of the Florida Judicial Qualifications Commission to participate in the Senior Management Service Class, etc.
