House Bills
 
HB 395 Removes the time limitation for DROP eligibility for certain personnel.
 
HB 529 Revises period of time before certain financial instruments may be canceled and certain monies may be forfeited. Updates sections in 29 C.F.R. regarding obtaining a copy and delivery of the most recent prospectus to Investment Plan members.
 
HB 629 Provides participation in Senior Management Service Class of FRS is compulsory for assistant regional counsel supervisors.
 
HB 945 Revises amount of annual cost-of-living adjustment; revises how cost-of-living adjustment of benefits for certain retirees and beneficiaries is calculated; provides declaration of important state interest.
 
HB 965 Revises initial date of employment for members who have military service and may receive creditable military service; revises definition of term "veteran" to include more recent periods of wartime service.
 
HB 973 Abolishes certain soil and water conservation districts in this state; transfers assets & liabilities of such districts to DACS.

SB 1126 Revising the amount of the Florida Retirement System annual cost-of-living adjustment; revising how the cost-of-living adjustment of benefits for certain retirees and beneficiaries is calculated.
 
SB 7022 Authorizing an officer, except while serving as a legislator, to remain in elective office and receive accumulated DROP proceeds after the officer attains a certain age; requiring the Division of Retirement or the State Board of Administration, as appropriate, to take steps to recoup from the elected officer any DROP proceeds distributed in accordance with a specified provision, under specified circumstances; revising required employer retirement contribution rates for each membership class and subclass of the Florida Retirement System.
