Approving a work item causes it to be sent to the next workflow activity. The work item is assigned to the next assignee in the workflow.
Property |
Description |
Subject |
The first line can include the subject of the assignment. The second line is the name of the content item. If the assignment was not named, you will see only the content item name. If you have selected multiple workflow items to approve, each one will appear as a row in this table. |
Next Activity Assignees |
This property appears only if you are approving a single work item and the next activity contains multiple assignees. If the next activity of the work item contains multiple assignees, you can optionally specify which user is assigned the work item. If you do not specify a particular user, all assignees will be notified and one of them can then claim the item. |
Workflow Comments |
An explanation of the approval or instructions to the next activity assignee. This is also used as the check-in comment. If you are checking in multiple work items, this comment is used for all. |
Publish Content Item |
Allows you to publish the content item as part of the approval process. This option appears only if the activity's Publishable option is configured in the Workflow Editor. |
You can approve workflow items via the Content Item Editor or the Publisher Work List portlet.
