The Configure Portlet Template Wizard allows content administrators to create customized content portlet templates that community managers can use to create published content portlets.
A published content portlet template consists of a portlet template in the portal's administrative hierarchy and a set of objects (data entry templates, presentation templates, content items) stored in a Publisher folder. The Publisher folder and its contents are copied when a portlet is created from the portlet template. In order to create a published portlet template, you must:
Create the Publisher objects (folders, content items, data entry templates, presentations templates) that will be copied when the new portlet is created.
Specify the way the Configure Portlet Wizard presents the template during portlet creation and set defaults that will be inherited by portlets created from the portlet template.
