Override Workflow

If you are a folder administrator, you can override a workflow activity for a content item in the folder. You can override the pre-defined workflow activities for a content item by choosing another workflow activity in the content item's workflow.

To override workflow for a content item:

1. In the right pane of Publisher Explorer, right-click the content item for which you want to override workflow and choose Workflow to display the Override Workflow dialog box (this dialog box).
2. Choose the desired override activity and click Assign to me if you wish to re-assign the activity to yourself.
3. Click OK.

Note: If the content item in workflow is checked out and you change the workflow assignment or activity, Publisher undoes the checkout and any changes that were made are lost.

To display the page associated with this help topic:
