You receive this message in your e-mail inbox when a content item in workflow has been assigned to you. You can perform the following actions:

Subject |
This is the activity's description that was set up in workflow. Click the link to open a page and preview the content item. |
Assigned To |
Name of the users or groups to whom the work item is assigned. |
Assigned By |
Name of the user who completed the previous activity and the date on which the activity was assigned. The second line contains the user comments. You can click the name to view the user's profile. |
Activity |
The current workflow activity of the work item. The second line contains the activity's description. |
Workflow |
The name of the workflow. The second line contains the workflow description. |
Start Date |
The date the workflow was started. |
Due Date |
Optional. The date and time by which the workflow must be completed. |

User |
Name of the user performing the activity. |
Action |
Some examples of actions are Submit, Approve, and Disapprove. Users can perform these by using the Publisher Work List portlet or Content Item Editor, or directly from workflow notifications. Once these actions are taken, the state of the workflow is displayed here. The possible states of the workflow include: Work Item Started, Work Item Completed, Work Item Reassigned, Work Item Delegated, and Process Completed. |
Date |
This is the date and time on which the user performs the activity. |
